Three Common Misconceptions about Chant

“Chant is slow and long” – This is a common problem that we face. The congregation, and sometimes even the choir, like to drag whenever they chant.....

“Chant is plain and flat, they all sound the same” – I think this misconception came up because of the overuse of a certain chant like Mass VIII and Mass XVIII....
